The Rockingham Town Hall is home for the town offices and also a classic big screen movie theater. The theater was extensively renovated and restored and the old steam heating system in the building was replaced with a modern hot water heating system.

The existing steam heating system in this classic four-story building was replaced by a modern hydronic system that supplies hot water heat to fan coil units in the offices and attic air handling units in the theater. There are two high efficiency Buderus oil fired lead-lag boilers. The fan‑coils in the offices are on a two-pipe change over system connected to both the boiler and a roof mounted air cooled chiller for cooling. Fan coils are oversized to work as convectors and have controls that keep the fan coil fans off whenever possible to save energy and reduce noise. The theater air handling units have sound attenuators, and DX cooling and provide ample fresh air for ventilation. The building has modern DDC controls.
